The University of Warwick ( "'walk" or Wor-ik and abbreviated as WARW. in post-nominal letters in post-nominal letters is a research-based public university located on the outskirts of Coventry in the region of The West Midlands and Warwickshire, England.[5 The university was established in 1965 in a government initiative to increase the quality of higher education. Warwick Business School (also known as Warwick Business School) was established in 1967. Warwick Law School was established in 1968, Warwick Law School in 1968, Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) in the year 1980, and Warwick Medical School in 2000. Warwick was incorporated as Coventry College of Education in 1979 and Horticulture Research International in 2004.
Warwick is located on a 290-hectare (720 acres) campus on the edge of Coventry and has an additional campus at Wellesbourne and a central London base, the Shard. It is organized into three faculties, namely Arts, Science Engineering and Medicine and Social Sciences. Within each, it has 32 faculties. In 2019, Warwick had around 26,531 full-time students and 2,492 research and academic staff. It earned a total revenue that was PS703.7 million in the years 2020/21. Out of that, PS139.8 million came made up of research grants and contracts. Warwick Arts Centre is a multi-venue art complex located on the main campus, and it is also the biggest venue in the UK that isn't found in London.

Warwick is an associate member of AACSB and AACSB, the Association of Commonwealth Universities, the Association of MBAs, EQUIS and EQUIS, the European University Association, the Midlands Innovation group, the Russell Group, Sutton 13 and Universities UK. Warwick is the only European part of the Center for Urban Science and Progress and is in a partnership that is a collaboration with New York University.
