Jamia Millia Islamia (lit. "National Muslim University") is a university of central importance situated within New Delhi, India.Originally established in Aligarh, United Provinces (present-day Uttar Pradesh, India) during the British Raj in 1920, it relocated to its present site at Okhla by 1935. It was granted the recognition of deemed status by the University Grants Commission in 1962. On the 26th of December, 1988, it was declared an institution of centralization.

Najma Heptulla was sworn in as the 11th Chancellor at Jamia Millia Islamia on 26 May 2017. Najma Akhtar was appointed the 15th Vice-Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia in April 2019.

In the year 2020, Jamia Millia Islamia was the top central universities across the country in the rankings published by Ministry of Education of India.

The campus spans an extensive area within the Okhla region of Delhi near Delhi's Red Fort. The majority of the buildings are being renovated.

The picturesque cricket ground of the university, Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi Sports Complex has been the venue for many important Tournaments as well as Indian women's cricket matches.This ground also was the venue for an event called the University Cricket Championship in 2013 In addition to its seven faculties the Jamia has centers of research and learning, such as The Anwar Jamal Kidwai Mass Communication Research Centre (MCRC), Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Fine Arts, Centre for Theoretical Physics as well as The Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar Institute of Third World Studies (ATWS). The Jamia offers postgraduate and undergraduate in information and technology. Jamia Millia Islamia joined the green movement and has installed 2,250-watt solar panels on campus.

The central library at the University is referred to as the Dr. Zakir Husain Library and houses a collection of approximately 400,000 artifacts . These include microfilms, books, periodicals, manuscripts, volumes, and rare books. Certain halls are devoted to these collections. The library is accessible to all legitimate students of Jamia Millia Islamia. Apart from that, there is subject collections in the libraries of certain faculties and centers.

Jamia Millia Islamia Result

Jamia Millia Islamia announces the results of its semester exams and entrance tests via the official site. Students can view their marks by entering the roll number. Found on their admit card. Typically, the results of examinations for the semester are revealed during the month of December or the month of May. If the students aren't satisfied with their scores during the semester exam, they may also request the revaluation of their answers worksheets within 15 days of the announcement of the results.
