Melbourne (Bundoora)

The Melbourne campus located at Bundoora is the primary college that is part of La Trobe and was officially established in 1967 in the year that La Trobe began operations. The campus serves as the primary basis for all of La Trobe's primary courses, with the exception of pharmacy, education and dentistry, which are located in Bendigo. Bundoora is the biggest campus of a university located in the Southern Hemisphere, encompassing 235 acres, which includes the adjoining NangakTamboree wildlife Sanctuary.

La Trobe has a city campus in Melbourne's central district, located on Collins Street. It offers postgraduate courses for international and domestic students.

Bouverie Centre

The Bouverie Clinic (first called Collins Street Clinic) Collins Street Clinic) was established in the year 1956 as a clinic for mental health clinic for adolescents and children. The clinic was established in 1956. clinic was changed to the Bouverie Clinic after its relocation to Collins Street, in the CBD of Melbourne to Bouverie Street in Carlton.


La Trobe Bendigo was established in 1991, originally under the name of La Trobe University College of Northern Victoria (1991-1994). Between 1994 and 2005, La trobe Bendigo's program was managed by an inter-disciplinary Faculty of Regional Development and was distinct from Melbourne. Campuses could offer individual courses from Bundoora or Bendigo. The situation changed in 2005 when Bendigo's campus was integrated into the Melbourne structure. Bendigo campus was better joined into that of Melbourne campuses.


La Trobe University's Albury Wodonga Campus is located just three kilometres from the city centre of Wodonga on a 26-hectare area.
