Formerly known as The University College of North Wales, Bangor University is a state-owned university founded in 1884.. In Wales during the nineteenth century, a movement for the provision of higher education led to the establishment of the university. The local population, on a voluntary basis including quarrymen and farmers made contributions to the establishment of the university. The university was established in 1911. principal building of the university was opened in addition to several social and arts science structures. When it was granted the power to award degrees in 1911, the university began awarding degrees under the name it is now in 2009.

How, When, and Where to Apply
Application Portal: Candidates may apply for admission to Bangor University by filling the online application form, or via UCAS (Universities and College Admission Services).
Deadline: Admissions are accepted by the university all through the year, however students should apply before at the close of June for intake in September or at the final day of October for the January intake.
What happens when you receive admission?
If they are accepted for admission, students be issued a Confirmation that they have received Acceptance of Study (CAS) through the payment of a deposit of 2000 GBP. Students will require CAS to submit a visa application in order to be eligible to pursue their studies within the UK.
