The University of Westminster is a progressive and exciting institution to learn at. It was founded in 1838 and is among the largest and most varied global institutions within the UK. More than 5,000 students from over 150 countries attend our campus each year. The University has facilities located in the centre of London and Harrow providing a broad range in short-courses and foundation courses, master, bachelor and PhD programs across seven schools of academics. There are three main streams that have more than 65 distinct departments. The main departments of the University of Westminster are:
Arts: Humanities, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities and Law School, Westminster School of Arts & Westminster School of Media and Communication.
Science: College of Design, School of Computer Science, Creative and Digital Industries, School of Architecture, Computer Science and Engineering.
Commerce: Applied Management, Management and Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Organisations, Economy & Society.
University of Westminster Colleges and School
University of Westminster is organised into three colleges and twelve schools with around 65 research and academic departments:
College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries, which includes the School of Architecture and Cities The School of Computer Science and Engineering as well as the Westminster School of Arts and the Westminster School of Media and Communications.
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences comprising the School of Humanities, the School of Life Sciences, the School of Social Sciences and Westminster Law School.
Westminster Business School, comprising Westminster Business School, which includes the School of Applied Management, the School of Finance and Accounting as well as the School of Management and Marketing and the School of Organisations, Economy and Society.
The University is home to the Institute of Modern and Contemporary Culture, the Centre for the Study of Democracy and the Policy Studies Institute.

University of Westminster Student Life
Our courses are offered in four locations in London: three in central London, all within walking distance of one another, and one in Harrow, north-west London, only a 30-minute tube trip from central London.
Our gym and lessons, as well as our other sports and fitness facilities and events, are open to the general public.
Fitness tests, one-on-one personal training, and workout plans are also available without the high membership costs and bleak attitude found at other city-center gyms.
You immediately become a member of the University of Westminster Student Union (UWSU) when you enroll at the university. The UWSU is an autonomous organization organized by students for students.
The Student Union exists to represent your interests as a student, to preserve your rights, and to guarantee that your voice can be heard at the University when critical decisions are made.
