It is the American University of Beirut (AUB) is an independent, private, non-sectarian, and independent institution chartered with the state of New York with its campus located in Beirut, Lebanon. AUB is overseen by a non-profit, self-governing board of trustees that offers courses leading to bachelor's degrees, master's, master's MD, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.AUB operates on a $423-million budget, with an endowment of around $768 million.
