The University of Southern Denmark is a public institution located within Southern Denmark and Zealand. The university was established around 1998.Since then the university has gone from growing to a higher level. SDU currently has five faculties and around 32,000 students, with more than 15 percent of them are from outside the country. The University of Southern Denmark was founded in 1998 when the University of Odense, the Southern Denmark Business school and Engineering, and the South Jutland University Center merged to become the University of Southern Denmark.
